Hi, I’m Raquel Le Blanc, and I’m honored to be competing for the title of Miss Maryland USA 2025!

This journey is personal for me. Growing up as a multi-racial girl, I rarely saw women who looked like me in roles of influence or beauty. Pageants always felt like something meant for someone else: someone louder, someone more glamorous, someone with a more “conventional” story. But over time, I’ve learned that there is no one way to be worthy of being seen.

I’m entering this competition not just to prove to myself that I can, but to create space for others who don’t always feel like they belong. I want young girls who feel different, quiet, overlooked, or underrepresented to look at that stage and think, “If she can do it, maybe I can too.”

This isn’t just a title. It’s a platform. It’s a chance to be visible, to serve, and to speak for people who haven’t always had a voice in spaces like this.

I’m raising funds to help cover the costs of the competition, including:

My time at the competition

Professional photos and program book fees

Entry and registration fees

All donations go directly toward these expenses, and every contribution, no matter the size, brings me one step closer to the Miss Maryland USA stage.
