Help Raquel Get Well

Let me tell you a little bit about a special lady. First and foremost she’s the most attentive mother I’ve ever known. Where you see her you’ll soon find her beautiful kidos.
Raquel puts LOVE into others even when she's quietly fighting for her life. She smiles with tears in her eyes usually when she talks about just wanting and needing to be here for her precious children. Even on hard days she pours herself and patience into her family and work.
She has always been a very hard worker in all endeavors. One of my favorite interesting facts about her is she's a three time water polo world champion. She proudly swam for her homeland Venezuela. It has almost been two years since her family has been together. She truly wishes he was here and they were together through this challenging time. Raquel misses her husband and Venezuela daily. She grieves for her beautiful country’s ongoing socioeconomic and political crisis. I’m so thankful my country helps others in need. I’m also very thankful people have more access to cancer medications here. She is so incredibly thankful to be safe in America with her children and grandchildren only wishes her husband was by her side.
Moving to America she had to learn and adapt quickly for survival. I'm seriously amazed that she not only learned English midlife but she knows it well enough to coach children. I have watched her coach day after day and never once show the team she’s sick or tired. I truly am so impressed with her ability to build others up when her life is so fragile.
The money donated is for her mastectomy that's scheduled for September 30th, accumulated medical bills, transportation (surgery is 4 hour drive), and providing for her children while out of work. She is going to have to miss working 6-7 days a week as a front desk representative, swim instructor, and swim coach. She coaches 5-6 days a week year round. She is a phenomenal coach the kind that kids respect and trust. She truly loves teaching and training them to become self confident and strong.
Im not sure if l've ever seen a woman do so many hard things so gracefully. My hope is she can pay medical bills and have peace with the financial aspect. I would love for her to just be able to rest and heal after mastectomy. She deserves all the time needed for healing at home with her children. They need their mother and love her so completely. With them only having one parent with them in America it’s so important for extra support.
We never know what tomorrow will bring but we can help each other through the hardest moments with love.
