My name is Raquel Castillo,  I am a single mom of 2 teenagers.  Ten months ago I started down a path I never imagined walking.   I’ll never forget  that day when the doctor walked into that small room and said the words “It is breast cancer”….    

I’ve come to realize that the last 9 years being a single mom and facing many trials without any immediate family in Oregon has prepared me to face this time with strength.  However, it is my vision of the future that is giving me hope and the determination to beat cancer.  I want to be here for my kids, watching them graduate high school, learning to drive and  discovering their God given passion.   I see myself supporting others who will go thru this same battle and that is the reason I am asking you to partner with me.  God has directed me to seek treatment from CHIPSA an integrative treatment center in Mexico where they not only heal the body of the cancer but prepare your body to continue fighting off cancer cells.   In order to go there I have a goal of raising $30,000 by May 4th which pays for travel, 21 days at the treatment center and 3 months of continued treatment from home.  At first this seemed out of reach but if you break it down it’s really just 600 people contributing $50.   I’m trusting God and am grateful for any support you can give wether it be financially, sharing this to help me reach more people or praying for me.
