Help Raphael replace his damaged hot air balloon

Hi, my name is Peter Hayes. I'm fundraising for my son Raphael, who recently experienced a most unfortunate setback when his hot-air balloon envelope was damaged beyond repair. Raphi is in the first year of a budding career as a hot-air balloon pilot. The balloon in question had many successful flights in its illustrious life and had come to Raphi through his work with the Rose City Hot Air Balloon Company. The balloon, a Thunder and Colt 77, was in transport to a launch site when its fastening bands released, causing it to tumble off the back of its transport trailer and drag for an unknown distance. This resulted extensive irreparable damage.

 

My goal is to raise the funds needed to replace the balloon with a comparable one on the used market. My research has revealed that this can be accomplished in the approximate cost range of $5 -10,000. I appeal to family and friends of Raphi to support me in this endeavor. Let's get Raphi back in the pilot's basket in time for the start of his new flight season in early 2022.  Please help, if you can, and spread the word to wider circles of family and friends!
