Our beloved father, Ranjit, is 74 years old and has travelled from Sri Lanka to Perth to be with our family and support us around the birth of his grandchild.

What should have been a beautiful and happy family time has suddenly turned into the most difficult and frightening period of our lives.

During his visit to Perth, my father suffered a severe and unexpected heart attack and was admitted to Royal Perth Hospital. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in an induced coma, receiving critical medical treatment and care.

Our family is praying and hoping every moment for his recovery.

Unfortunately, my father does not have medical insurance in Australia, and we are facing an estimated hospital and medical bill of approximately AUD $90,000. The financial burden is overwhelming for our family at a time when our entire focus is on supporting him and hoping he pulls through.

We have started this fundraiser to help our family meet the significant hospital and medical expenses arising from my father’s unexpected heart attack and ICU treatment.
