Hi there. My name is Hallie and I am raising funds for my little cat Rani. Rani is 6 years old and the sweetest cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Recently, she has developed some breathing problems. I took her to the vet who immediately referred her to NCSU's vet hospital and quoted me at between $2000-$5000 for a procedure to remove a mass that was blocking almost her entire trachea and esophagus. The vet has asked for $2000 up front as a deposit as they claimed that was on the low end of what it will end up costing. I am looking for assistance in paying this bill. After chatting with my pet insurance provider it does not appear it is covered due to the fact that we are still in the waiting period for coverage and that it may have been a pre-existing condition prior to signing her up. So, paying this bill in its entirety comes down to me. I work in the service industry, as such my income is variable. I really want to take care of my baby, but also not ruin myself financially doing so.
