❤️ Help Ranger My Golden Boy, Fight Cancer

Ranger is 4.5 years old and he was brought into the family at 8 weeks old and from the very beginning, he has been more than just a pet—he has been my heart, my companion, and my constant source of comfort.

Ranger has always lived a healthy, active life. He’s been on a raw diet, gets plenty of exercise, and has passed every vet check with flying colors. He’s incredibly intelligent, gentle, and well-trained—truly a mama’s boy in every possible way. He loves his stuffed animals, adores his 15-year-old Beagle sister who he has kept young and playful, and brings joy to everyone who meets him.

But Ranger is much more than a family dog. I struggle with anxiety at times and Ranger has become my daily grounding force—steady, calming, and intuitive. He comforts me without being asked. He knows when I am struggling before I do. It has always been my dream to bring that same comfort to my students. Ranger has already begun spending time in the school building with teachers, and the goal is for him to eventually work directly with students who need emotional support. He has so much love and gentleness to give, and I know he can make a difference in the lives of others.

A few weeks ago, that bright future was suddenly put at risk.

Ranger was diagnosed with oral melanoma, an aggressive form of cancer found inside his mouth. The tumor was removed, but the recommended course now is radiation treatment to prevent the cancer from spreading. Without treatment, the cancer will almost certainly return—and quickly.

The estimated cost of radiation is $5,000–$8,000.

As a teacher, I do not have the financial means to cover this on my own, but I am determined to fight for him. Ranger has given me—and so many others—love, comfort, and happiness every day of his life. He deserves the chance to keep living the joyful, vibrant life he’s always had.

I am humbly asking for help to give Ranger that chance.
