Over the past several months, Randy has battled worsening COPD requiring multiple emergency interventions and intensive care admissions. He was discharged home requiring 24/7 oxygen. During his most recent hospitalization, it was discovered he has a fracture in his back. He has been placed in a full back brace while waiting on an appointment to determine the treatment plan.
Through all of this, Randy has been unable to work, leaving his family—wife and autistic grandson—without financial stability. As the sole income provider, this has been devastating. And with mounting expenses, the burden is becoming very heavy.
