Help Randy through the rough road ahead

Well here we are again.. we just got the news less than a month ago that mom was cancer free.. and then dad took a turn south. He has been having trouble getting around for the last few months, and then got to where he couldn't walk without a walker , and eventually to a wheel chair, and then to where he couldn't get out of bed. While they were trying to figure out what was going on with him, we woke up one day and he could no longer form a sentence. They're calling it dilerium. He has been in the hospital for 5 days, and we got the call tonight that they are transferring him to denver. He has what's called severe spinal stenosis. Basically his spine has shrunk and narrowed I believe, and it is so bad that it is compressing his spinal chord in his neck. Which is where all the important nerves are that control motor and brain function. All of that on top of his kidneys are also failing. He will be having a neurologist perform surgery once he is stable enough. Obviously this is going to be a long hard road, between my family trying to figure out how to take time off to be up there with him, and my uncles who live much closer taking time away from their jobs. I know my dad has many friends, and we love him so much. Anything and everything is appreciated more than you could know. Thank you all.
