Help 12 Recovering Men Rebuild After a House Fire Destroyed Their Sober Living Home
A dream burned to ashes — but hope isn’t lost.
Just one week ago, Randy Grimes, a beloved mentor and former Grand Mental Health employee, opened the doors to a new sober living home in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It was more than a house — it was a sanctuary for 12 men rebuilding their lives after addiction.
Randy poured his entire savings, heart, and soul into this mission. He quit his job to dedicate himself full-time to helping others heal. Every piece of furniture was donated, every wall painted by hand, every man given a second chance.
Then tragedy struck.
Just days after opening, a faulty attic wire sparked a fire that destroyed everything — the home, the furniture, the clothes, and the sense of safety these men had just begun to feel.
The Red Cross was unable to provide housing, giving only a $350 gift card per person. These men now have nowhere to go — sleeping in cars, on couches, or out in the cold. For men fighting to stay sober, stability is life or death.

How You Can Help
We’re urgently raising funds to help Randy secure:
A new rental home (deposit + first month’s rent)
Beds, furniture, and clothing
Basic necessities (toiletries, food, transportation)
Replacement IDs and work uniforms for the residents
Every dollar makes a difference. This isn’t a big nonprofit — it’s one man and twelve recovering souls fighting to stay on the right path.
Fire location: 19108 E 7th St, Tulsa, OK
All funds go directly to Randy and the residents of Recovery specialists Recovery Home to restore housing and essentials immediately.
