Hi everyone, I’m Randy aka Tori Tia . On November 8th, I got into a minor accident while on the freeway. I admittedly got distracted while driving, and didn’t see the line of cones closing a lane on the freeway. I hit a traffic cone while going the freeway speed limit and immediately had to pull over. While I thought it to be a minor event, this accident left my car’s radiator, bumper, tire, and CPU completely out of commission and also immediately undrivable. The body shop I took it to is charging me $4,550 (4,300 on paper but additional 175 and 75 for other parts that they needed to start the repairs) that I unfortunately cannot pay with a payment plan and I badly need help. I’m the only driver in my apartment and I cannot be without a car. I’ve been blessed to still be able to work around the south bay and find rides every now and then but I desperately need my car back. Unfortunately, I have to pay for this expense out of pocket due to other circumstances that have put me in this situation. I’m so embarrassed to ask for help like this but I don’t have much other options with how grand of a payment it is. I fucked up big time and am definitely making sure this doesn’t happen again.
