Help Randy get to MD Anderson for cancer treatment

Hey Everyone,

I am asking for your support for Randy Strickland. He has been diagnosed with lung cancer and we are waiting on the results for staging and treatment options. He has been accepted as a patient at MD Anderson and needs help getting there and help with cost associated with travel and medical expenses. We appreciate any help you can give him whether it is monetary, prayers or any type of support. 

Ok, we haven’t updated in a while. We have and still are on an emotional rollercoaster. In November, Randy was hospitalized with severe back pain and since then he has been around the world to figure out what was going on. For 4 months he has been tested, scanned, seen every kind of dr and told He had cancer. He goes to Houston and they tell him that according to lab work and scans they can’t diagnosis him properly. He did not have his biopsy back after the pet scan showed them where to collect the biopsy. A week after getting back fromTX Randy gets a phone call from Birmingham and is told he does not have cancer, he has pneumonia. As you can imagine the roller coaster this sent us on. For 4 months we have thought he had cancer! Enterprise, Dothan, Birmingham and even in Houston all preliminary test lead to cancer! God is amazing and what ever has occurred we Praise the Lord! MDAnderson called today and they have requested the biopsy slides be sent to them and they are not finished with the testing, but they are leaning toward pneumonia as well. He goes for another scan in 2 weeks and depending on the scan, he may have to undergo another biopsy just to be 100% for sure. Thanks for all the support, prayers and love that has been shown. Please keep Randy and his family in your prayers. Randy is very prayerful that these reports are correct, but he continue to have pain and he his having some anxiety from the uncertainty of everything.
