Help Randy Brown's Final Wish Come True

Story

My name is Veronica Cervantes. My boss, Randy Brown was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in September 2023. Randy immediately started chemo until he was able to have surgery. In July of 2024, Randy went through a 12+ hour long surgery to remove his pancreas, part of his intestine, part of his stomach and his gallbladder. In November 2024, Randy was able to return to work. However, that was short lived. Randy was diagnosed on January 21, 2025 with Stage 4 Liver Cancer. Randy is now on another leave of absence fighting cancer again. His prognosis is not good. With chemo he may only have 12 months. Randy has been my boss for approximately 8 years. Randy is not only my boss but he is also my mentor and friend. During this time he has encouraged me to go to college which I have. When I graduated in May of 2024 with my Associates degree, Randy traveled from his home in Houston while still undergoing chemo treatments, to Fort Worth to watch me walk the stage. He has been supporting me, cheering me on and ensured I never missed any of my children's school and extra curricular activities. When I was talking to Randy the other day, he mentioned to me that he would like to take one last trip before he passes. His wish is to go to Washington DC to the Smithsonian Institute. While I can't help Randy fight cancer, I can attempt to help get him to the Smithsonian. Please help me make Randy's final wish come true- to go to the Smithsonian. Any donation you can give is greatly appreciated! Thank you!
