Help Randy attended Johns Hopkins BMEI summer program

Hello!

My name is Randy Rivera. I applied and have been accepted into the Johns Hopkins Biomedical Engineering Innovation summer program. I am a First Generation student and this program would allow me to further explore the world of medicine. What I want to do is bring better and more affordable options to healthcare because I have experienced first hand how terrible it feels to not be able receive the care you need. I have been inventing and creating products and designs for multiple years, and plan to apply for a patent for some of my inventions. However, I need help fundraising money for my tuition in order to attend the program.

I’m have been in leadership for my schools FIRST Robotics team as head of mechanical for three years, am head of lights for the theater program, Vice President of Student Council, and have created an advanced music program at my school. I will work harder than ever to pursue this dream because not only is this experience incredibly valuable, but would also look amazing on my college applications that I will complete this summer.
