Help Randi Rebuild & help with vet bills

Hi, my name is Elisia and Randi is my grandmother, today she faced everyone’s worse nightmare. She came over to celebrate Christmas with us and not even 10 minutes into her being over with us, she received the worse

phone call any home owner could receive. Luckily she is close with her neighbors and one of them called her and told her that her house had smoke coming out of her house.

Nobody was home except the dogs and cat. Minnie, Banjo & Jojo and angel the cat. We arrived shortly after the fire department had been on seen. Unfortunately the closest fire dept to her is u see construction. With that being said other firehouses had to come which meant even more of a wait. Any pet owners nightmare. Within 5-8 minutes they brought out my grandmas dogs ( Jojo & Banjo ) who were kenneled. Minnie was still in the house somewhere, due to her separation anxiety she cannot be locked up. The time dragged as we patiently waited to hope to see her come out. Minnie is also scared of new people ESPECIALLY with everything already happening finally the wait was over. They found her and walked her out.

We sat there trying are hardest to save the two little ones. Since they were closest to the fire. Unfortunately we couldn’t save Jojo.

Both Minnie and Banjo are admitted for oxygen therapy for the next 24 hours and that is the most crucial time.

Banjo suffered 1st degree burns on his whole body most likely from the heat, swelling around his eyes but overall in decent shape.

Minnie is in decent shape we brought her to southview animal hospital first and they did a full work up on her and a chest X-ray, her chest X-ray did show some cloudiness so they are a little concerned about that.

Angel could not be found either.

The kitchen is toast. The fire started there. The fire department said the burner was turned a tiny bit and with it being a gas stove after awhile it caught the plastic cutting board on top and it was enough to ignite it.

the fire went up to the upstairs as well to the upstairs rooms

Christmas will never be the same, instead of enjoying the holidays she is now stressing over how everything will be paid. We have already have paid $6,800 out of pocket just for vet care.

please consider donating to help her get back on her feet until they can repair the home which we think will be awhile, she is not allowed to step foot into the house so she has nothing. We are just lucky she wasn’t home sleeping when this happened.

my grandma wears her heart on her sleeve and does everything she can to help anyone out.

thank you and god bless ❤️
