I think that anyone who has been privileged to meet Randi knows that she is an incredibly strong, independent woman with a fabulous sense of humor and a heart of gold! Although she would never ask for help, we know she will likely need all the help she can get.

In short, for those of you that don't know, Randi was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus in 2009. She has battled this awful autoimmune disease so bravely with a strength that is truly admirable. There have been some ups and downs along the way, but these last 6 months have been extremely difficult for Randi. She had a big surgery in March which resulted in the loss of a major organ. She fought an infection in her blood stream in May and an abscess on her kidney in July that required draining. Since August 11th, she has been hospitalized with an extremely aggressive, difficult to treat infection in her lung. On 9/7, she is headed in to surgery for a 4th procedure to try to combat this infection in her lungs.

We are humbly asking for anything that may help as I cannot imagine the strain this puts on a single mom. We all love her so much and do not want her to have to stress about finances when she should be spending her energy healing and continuing to improve.
