Help Randee and Brett and their baby boy!!

Hi, my name is Season Stites, the sister of Randee Rix! My sister is pregnant with her 3rd, baby and unfortunately they got some devastating news requiring her to have intrauterine surgery.

This is what she said, “I’m not even sure where to begin.. first off, some may know and some may not know, but Brett and I are expecting a baby boy in July. We went to our anatomy scan excited like usual to only be thrown for a loop. Our baby boy has Spina Bifida and it was confirmed yesterday. His best chances of having a close to normal life are to have an in utero surgery. We fly to Houston next week to determine if we are candidates and if so, we will undergo surgery and stay there for a minimum of 2-3 weeks. We have good hopes for him as he is kicking already, doesn’t have clubbed feet and the brain damage is very minimal. With this surgery, we can help prevent anymore complications that can arise from increased pressure inside the brain. I’m not one to post about anything but we are hoping and praying that we will be candidates for this surgery and that he will be able to have as close as possible to a normal life! So any additional prayers would be greatly appreciated”!
