Help Ramya's Family Escape Gaza War

My name is Mo Elgammal and I live in the United States. This fundraise is to help the family of my friend, Ramya, escape the war that is currently happening in the Gaza Strip(Palestine). As you might know Gaza is a war zone and its people are subject to genocide performed by the Israeli Army. This is a time sensetive matter, as the death toll in Gaza piles up by the day!

I have to add that I am not affiliated with any organization neither is my friend nor her family. Her only hope is to re- unite with her family and live safely together.

This is her message to you:

"My family lives in Gaza (Palestine). My father is 75 years old, and my mother is 64. Together, along with my two brothers, their wives, and their children, lived in a family home in a city that is now being wiped off the face of earth and whose people are facing genocide.

Since October 7th, the aggression and bombing against my people has not stopped, besides all kinds of suffering, torture, and violations. People in Gaza are slowly dying due to hunger, thirst, the spread of epidemics, and the lack of medical care.

My family is facing death on daily basis, when the war broke out, they were displaced from their home and they have been on the move within Gaza since then, trying to find a safe area. But wherever they go, the same scenario repeats itself, one area after the other, and the mass displacement continues. It seems that, soon, nowhere in Gaza would be safe.

They are now in Rafah on the Egyptian borders, living in one room. They have lost their home, their cars, their jobs, they basically have nothing now.

For incomprehensible reasons, the only safe way out of Gaza is to pay border crossing fees.

They must pay tens of thousands of dollars to cross the borders to the neighbouring country, Egypt. It is quite unaffordable for a family that has lost everything they have.

Please help me so I can save their lives."

This money will be paid to cover the border-crossing fees to the Egyptian side represented in Hala Travel. Hala Travel is an Egyptian travel agency which is outsourced by the Egyptian government to handle the process of the border crossing to Egypt. The cost is USD 5000 per person
