Hi, my name is Pietro. I am trying to raise money for my best friend, Ramsha. I am setting up this fundraiser on her behalf because I love her deeply, and as her best friend, I don’t want to see her in pain anymore. I have seen first-hand how much she has endured and how hard she has fought just to keep going, and I simply want things to change so she can get better.
Ramsha is one of the kindest people I have ever met. She has a deep love for animals and always tries her best not to cause problems for others, even while struggling herself. She tries to enjoy life in whatever ways she can, but her health conditions have made that increasingly difficult. Over time, the constant pain and lack of answers have taken an enormous physical and emotional toll.
For over 20 years, she has been living with ongoing incapacitating health issues that have slowly taken more and more from her and is mostly bedbound. She experiences severe facial nerve pain, daily migraines, fibromyalgia, constant fatigue, debilitating stomach issues, insomnia, and struggles with her mental health. All of these challenges that often leave her exhausted and confined to bed for long periods of time.
The facial nerve pain, in particular, has become one of the most debilitating parts of her condition. It makes simple, everyday things like eating, talking, resting, or concentrating extremely difficult. Despite years of appointments, referrals, and trying every available option through NHS and public healthcare, no one has been able to identify a definitive cause or offer a treatment plan that truly helps.
Recently, the pain has become unbearable. Living with constant suffering and no clear answers has left her feeling overwhelmed and hopeless. After so many years without progress, we have reached a point where seeking private specialist care feels like the only remaining path toward understanding what is happening.
This fundraiser has one clear goal: to raise funds so she can see a private neurologist to properly investigate her facial nerve pain. The funds will go toward an initial diagnostic consultation, travel costs, follow-up appointments, and, if possible, initial tests that could finally provide clarity and direction. At this stage, the goal isn’t a cure, it’s to find answers.
The impact of her illness goes far beyond physical pain. The constant fatigue and unpredictability make it almost impossible to plan ahead or enjoy life in a normal way. It’s not just about what she can’t do, but it’s about a life that feels permanently on hold at best.
If you’re able to donate, even a small amount, it will make a genuine difference. And if you can’t, sharing this page means more than you know.
With deep gratitude,
Pietro
