Sachi Animal Rescue was the life line for so many dogs that were in imminent danger of being euthanized because they were rescue only, many of which labeled as aggressive. Due to administrative failures SAR was forced to shut down.
While we wont' be able to fully fill the void left by Sachi, a small collective of the volunteers have committed to being the life line for the ones we can responsibly rescue. Meet R&R Boxer Rescue. Our first mission of the day is take the remaining Sachi dogs under our umbrella and help them complete families of their own.
The start up costs of forming a non-profit are not inconsequential and this is where we need your help. We are doing as much of it ourselves as we can, but it is imperative that all of the filings and documents are are done correctly. We are using a professional service to assist. Their fee is $695. Filing the 1023 (IRS form to apply for 501 c 3 status) is $850. The Secretary of State fee is $25, Franchise Tax Board fee is $25 and California Registry of Charitable Trust is another $75.
Can you help us get R&R Boxer Rescue off the ground?
