On August 8th at 1 AM, Ramona Perales woke up to a fire right outside her patio door in Fresno, CA. As she fled for safety, the patio door exploded, and the fire quickly spread throughout her apartment. Ramona lost everything she owned in the fire, including her clothes, all her furniture and belongings, important documents, and even her car keys. Thankfully, she made it out safely, but she is now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch.
Right now, Ramona needs help to secure a new apartment, cover the deposit and first month’s rent, and replace basic essentials like clothing and furniture. The loss has been devastating, but Ramona is determined to rebuild her life with the support of her family and community.
Ramona has always been a loving and supportive mom, and now a wonderful and loving grandmother. Now, she needs help from others to get back on her feet. Any support will go directly toward helping her find a new home and begin to recover from this tragedy.
