Help Ramona Heal After a Traumatic Accident

Stylist. Wife. Mother. Fighter. Let’s help our girl get back on her feet — and behind the chair.

On July 21, Ramona — a beloved hairstylist, wife, and mama — experienced a life-changing accident while doing something as simple as mowing the lawn.

With music playing in her headphones and her electric mower humming quietly, she went to empty the debris — not realizing the mower was still on. In an instant, her hand got too close to the spinning blades. She lost the tips of her first and second fingers.

For anyone, that’s traumatic.
But for a hairstylist? It’s devastating.

What Happened

In a moment of sheer survival, Ramona grabbed her hand and raised it to the sky to slow the bleeding. She fell, scraped the entire side of her face, chipped teeth — and still held her hand in the air.

Thanks to quick-thinking construction workers and paramedics, she got the care she needed. But the damage was real. And for someone who’s built her career with her hands, the road ahead is hard.

The Healing Journey

Since the accident, Ramona has been going through:
• Weekly visits to hand specialists
• Bi-weekly orthopedic therapy
• Daily painful wound cleanings
• Protective guards and exposed nerves
• And soon — physical therapy

Doctors say she’ll need at least 8–12 weeks before she can even think about using her hands again. And in our industry, that means no clients, no income, no backup.

Who Ramona Is

Ramona has been behind the chair for over 10 years — 9 of them at Hair Lovin’. She’s the kind of stylist who makes you feel seen. Cared for. Gorgeous. She’s a bright light in every room and pours so much love into her clients, her team, and her family.

She married the love of her life, Ebony, in April 2024. They are raising three beautiful kids together. And right now, Ebony is doing everything to care for her wife — but the weight is heavy.

Why We’re Asking for Help

Ramona has no PTO. No sick pay. No disability coverage.

We’re raising funds to help with:
• Medical bills
• Physical therapy
• Basic living expenses
• Lost wages

Anything you can give — whether it’s $5 or $50 — will go directly to Ramona and her family during this time. If you can’t donate, please share this page. Every bit helps.

Let’s show up for someone who’s shown up for so many of us.

Thank you for loving her with us.
