Dear Friends and Family,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Herman Campbell, who left us on 3-25-2025. In this difficult time, we are reaching out to our community for support in covering the unexpected funeral and memorial expenses.

Herman was a Ham Operator KN5GRK was the Public Information Coordinator for the ARRL Louisiana Section, He was a trustee for the Lafayette Salvation Army, Club Station K5LSA and a member of the Salvation Army Team Radio Emergence Network. He was also a member of the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association and was first licensed in 1956 as a Novice. He touched so many lives with his kindness, generosity, and spirit. While we navigate the heartbreak of losing him, we are also faced with the financial burden of giving Herman the proper farewell he deserves.

The cost of the funeral and related expenses has been overwhelming, and any contribution, no matter how small, would provide immense relief. Your generosity will help us honor Herman’s life, offer closure to those left behind, and ensure his memory lives on in the best possible way.
