Hello all, first and foremost, thank you for taking the time to read our story. We are a family of 5, and Ramon is our rock.
In 2020 after months of unexplained weight loss, abdominal pain and extreme fatigue, Ramon was diagnosed with stage IV colon cancer. He underwent emergency surgery and did chemo/ radiation. He was 33 and considered a "young on-set patient."
In May 2021, it was discovered that his cancer had metastasized to his liver and spleen. The doctors suggested more chemotherapy with the hopes of getting surgery IF it was successful.
If you know my husband, you'd see that he's a strong-minded individual.
We have so much admiration for Ramon; he is so brave and courageous. He opted to look for alternative treatment, and he has since implemented various protocols. It has been a challenging road for the whole family. Our boys have seen the ups and downs, the good and the ugly.
We understand God's will is before ours, but we have prayed, and this is the path we've been led to.
We have found new hope and are planning to go to a hospital in Tijuana, Mexico, where he will continue with alternative medicine, low-dose chemotherapy, nutritious meals and spiritual guidance.
There is nothing easy about cancer, it affects the whole family but Ramon has shown us his determination and faith. Our insurance does not cover alternative treatment, so these funds will serve to cover a year's worth of treatments and anything extra will be used for travel expenses and basic needs. I myself work 2 jobs in order to provide our basic living expenses. I would love for Ramon to be able to stay at the clinic to recieve his treatment for as long as is needed. All of your shares, prayers, words of encourgement and donations will not go unnoticed.
