Hello my name is Vanessa Iniguez and I am writing on behalf of Velia, Ramiro’s partner.

I am reaching out to my friends, family and community for financial support during this very difficult time. As many of you know, Ramiro “RAM” Regino is fighting heart failure.

When Ramiro first went to be seen, he was misdiagnosed with walking pneumonia and spent 17 days at the hospital. After discharge, as his symptoms worsened, he went back and received the devastating news that he has very severe heart failure and his heart is working at only 20%. He went into surgery to have a defibrillator put in as a temporary solution. Ram needs a new heart and due to his condition can no longer work and may not be able to work at all again. As the head of his household, we have no choice but to lean on our friends and family.

***As of right now, he needs emergency transport to Houston to see a specialist who is willing to save his heart. Due to the fragility of his situation, Ram may not survive a heart transplant.***

We are looking to raise $10,000 to help cover the costs of his very expensive medication/all medical bills/living expenses and especially the emergency trip to Houston.
