Hi, my name is Arma, I'm Canadian and I'm collecting donations to help my friend (I call him little brother) Rami who struggles to survive in Gaza. The money will help his whole family provides for its basic needs such as food, colthing, the tent repairs, hygiene products, gaz/wood for cooking and medicine.

Here a message from him:

I am 26years old. I used to work as a lawyer and my father used to work in agriculture (farmer) before the genocide, but now our whole life changed. Our work is gone and our house is destroyed.

My family consists of 6 members (my father's name is Tariq, my mother's name is Amal, my sister Arej, my brother Mohammed, my younger sister Maram and I am Rami). We need your help to repair my family's dilapidated tent because winter is coming and I need your help to keep my family alive due to the very difficult economic conditions.

My family and I have been suffering for years due to the Israeli blockade on the Gaza Strip, and since the beginning of the genocide (a year ago) the extent of the suffering has become indescribable and cannot be described in a few words.

As a result of this conflict, we have been displaced several times, moved from one area to another, and lost everything we had in this life. Today, we are homeless, unemployed, and without any source of income, as everything has been destroyed by the attacks. We continue to be exposed to daily violence, even in the areas designated as safe zones.

Our city is completely destroyed, with no homes, no roads, no health services, and no education.

For me, life has always been about serving my community and providing care and assistance to those in need. However, the war has taken away my home and the private office I used to work in. Both homes have been reduced to rubble, leaving me with nothing but shattered dreams and a deep sense of loss.

Your support, no matter how big or small, will make a huge difference in our lives and bring rays of hope to our darkest days.

As you know, we are now in plastic tents that do not shelter us from the cold of winter or the rain. This tent has been there for a year now and it is worn out and torn and needs to be replaced.

Please help me and my family to survive. Help me regain hope. You are our only hope.
