Hi, my name is Rambo.

For a long time, I lived peacefully outside a restaurant. I didn’t have much, but I had scraps of food and cuddles. I never hurt anyone. I only wanted love.

But one day, someone poured liquid acid on me to chase me away. It burned through the layers of my skin. The pain was unbearable, and I don’t know why they did it. I only wanted to eat and snuggle with the humans who showed me kindness.

A kind man found me and rushed me to the vet. They said my teeth were in a terrible state too. My gums were inflamed, and I had several exposed roots.

The surgery removed my infected roots and damaged teeth, but my wounds both inside and out are healing slowly. There are more tests to be done, and I still need ongoing care.

Still, I didn’t give up on humans. I didn’t get angry. I kept loving. There are some kind people helping me heal. They tell me that I’m loved, that I matter and that I would never be alone again.

They are doing everything they can but my care is expensive, and we need help to continue.
