Our Ralph has been sick for quite some time, in and out of the vet without answers. Well we got our answer and we are devastated. He was diagnosed with Dry FIP. It is almost always 100% fatal and our vet has no options to legally treat it. She gave us a small chance of hope and pointed us in the direction of the FIP Warriors group on Facebook. We are researching and learning as much as we can and there is an experimental treatment we can try and they have seen much success with it however it is very costly. It would be an injection every single day for a minimum of 12 weeks and then he would go into an observation period of 84 days or so and if all goes well he would be considered cured. While on treatment he would also require regular trips to the vet who has agreed to monitor his health on this journey and he would require blood tests and chemical panels throughout his treatment. We are not ready to give up on our boy who at only 7 months old has barely had the chance to live and we can't imagine our lives without him or how his bonded brother would also take the loss. We know there is no 100% guarantee but neither we nor Ralph are ready to give up the fight until we've exhausted every possible option. We would greatly appreciate any and all help whether that be a donation or helping spread the word for us. Thank you!
