Hello, I'm Diana Martinez, I'm fundraising on behalf of our dear friend Ralph Gradney.
On Saturday, June 26 Ralph was awakened by the San Ramon Police knocking at his door, where he was informed that his 1998 Dodge truck had been stolen. Later that day, Ralph found out that his dependable and primary source of transportation had been completely totaled and was now sitting in a tow yard. Being on disability, 80% of Ralph's income goes towards paying rent and therefore he is not financially able to buy a replacement truck. My goal is to help raise enough money for Ralph to purchase a replacement vehicle.
Throughout the years Ralph has given so much of his time to helping others and serving the community, through his involvement with Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, local schools, churches, and assisting any individual.
I remember the numerous scout camp outs to Wolfeboro, Camporee, etc. where Ralph transported all the gear, including the large stove he used to cook for the 70+ attendees. His expertise and guidance was immeasurable on the numerous construction type eagle scout projects. When the DVHS baseball coach needed a 10 ft beam for the pitchers to workout, Ralph immediately delivered it at no cost to the program.
When our family moved from Nor Cal to So Cal, Ralph took care of all the furniture we needed to get rid of, I just "pointed and the items were gone" - he found a good home for our furniture.
Please share and forward to all and help us show our appreciation to our friend in need!
