Help Ralfie Heal: Emergency Dental Fund

Hi everyone,

On March 21, I was the victim of a violent assault that left me with a lost front tooth and a contusion on my head. While I’m grateful to be recovering, the injury to my mouth has had a significant impact on my daily life, my confidence, and my ability to do what I love most—sing.

The tooth I lost is right in the front of my mouth. It affects my ability to eat, my speech, and my self-esteem. As a singer and performer, my voice is everything, and this injury has already caused me to develop a lisp that makes me self-conscious both on and off stage.

Beyond the missing tooth, the two surrounding teeth were also loosened from the impact. My doctors have advised that I need temporary dentures to help stabilize them while my mouth heals. Without that support, there is a real risk that those teeth could fall out as well, which would mean an even more complex and expensive procedure to replace them with a double implant.

I have a treatment plan in place: I’ll be getting a permanent dental implant in June, but until then, I need dentures to protect my mouth and prevent further damage. Unfortunately, my insurance won’t cover the cost of the dentures, and there will be out-of-pocket expenses for the surgery itself.

I’m asking for $3,700 to cover:

$700 for temporary dentures (needed immediately to protect my teeth)

$3,000 for my tooth implant surgery in June
