I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share the story of my cousin, Rajesh, a 26-year-old who traveled to Japan full of dreams and ambitions—only to be met with an unimaginable challenge.

Rajesh moved to Japan to pursue higher education, excited to build a better future. Life was going well, but everything changed when routine health checkups revealed something none of us expected—he was diagnosed with stomach cancer.

Imagine being far from home, in a foreign country, away from your family, and receiving such devastating news. The diagnosis turned his world upside down. Instead of focusing on his studies, he now faces the toughest battle of his life.

Doctors have advised immediate surgery, followed by treatments to prevent the cancer from spreading. While Japan has excellent healthcare, the medical expenses are overwhelming—especially for a student living abroad. The cost of surgery, hospitalization, medications, and post-surgery care is beyond what he and our family can afford alone.
