Help Rajah Get the Lifesaving Care She Needs

My cat Rajah is my whole world. We are so closely bonded. Sadly, we have recently learned a lot of concerning insight about her health in a very short amount of time. In one visit alone, I learned that she has a heart murmur, a heart condition known as hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, as well as blindness due to high blood pressure.

Since that visit less than a month ago, she has been in and out of the vet and hospital weekly, sometimes more. She has been in critical condition as recently as last week. While her doctors are hopeful that we can get her on a medical regimen to keep her stable, there is still a lot to learn about her underlying conditions. I never imagined that I would be in this situation with my sweet girl. I know that she has many more years to live if she gets the treatment she needs.

In the meantime, I have been accruing thousands of dollars in medical debt to save her life. This is a financial situation that has obliterated my savings in just a few short weeks. I am more than willing to take on the debt for her. However, I only have so much room in my credit limits, and essentially, I am OUT of money pretty much entirely. I worry that she will need treatment that I will be unable to cover due to my limited resources.

I never imagined being in a position to seek financial support from my community in this way, but for my cat, I will accept any help I can to save her. There is so much chaos, pain, and violence surrounding us all. Rajah has many times been the thread that has personally kept me going despite it all. If you have a pet that is near and dear to you, I’m sure you know what I mean.
