my name is Alexandra and I'm starting a fundraiser for my gender affirming surgeries that I will be having (breast augmentation/vaginoplasty) fingers crossed by the end of 2021. a little bit about me for those that don't know...
I'm a 21-year-old musical theatre performer living in Austin, TX. I was born in Nashville, TN and moved to Austin around the 6th grade with my twin brother. I always knew before transitioning that I did not always feel comfortable being Terin, as much as I tried to make it happy and functional. I still couldn't really figure out my path. Later on in high school, I was introduced to "queer" and "transfemale", terms that I really resonated with and I soon started hormone therapy after I turned 18. It's been three years now and I'm still on hormone therapy and it feels amazing to see who I've evolved into, although I keep changing day after day, I still don't feel complete. I know that the next step in my journey is to get my surgeries completed, and fully be who I am on the inside, externally.
