Rosa came to us as a welfare case, dumped...with severely infected skin and uncontrollable diarrhoea. She had sores across her feet and a sore, ulcerated rectum due to ongoing diarrhoea.
Rosa has had multiple vet visits since arriving and has had numerous testing and treatments to address her constant faecal incontinence and diarrhoea - including faecal tests, diet change, medication, gut work, absorption investigation and more. We have explored the possibility of granulomatous colitis, the disease which caused similar issues with Jasper several years ago and she has been hospitalised to try to find a solution.
Whilst Rosa has shown to have 2 serious bacterial infections, she is not responding to any of the treatments shown to help in these cases and despite the efforts of 2 vet practices and multiple highly skilled vets working on her case - she is not making the improvements needed to sustain a recovery. She is continuing to lose weight due to her persistent diarrhoea.
We urgently need to raise £600 by Tuesday for an ultrasound appointment with a European Board Ultrasonographer - who has the equipment and specialist diagnostic skills to be able to take internal photos of Rosa, in a non invasive way, with the hope that gives us more information as to what else is going on internally.
At the rate she is deteriorating, losing her is a real possibility and we just cannot let that happen.
We urgently need to raise funds for her appointment and her treatment and we can only do that with your help.
Please help us to help Rosa <3
