Hi, my name is Beccy and my family’s mission is to try and raise as much money as possible for UHNM Cancer Centre. My brother, Jim, has recently been diagnosed with terminal bile-duct cancer and is currently a patient at the Cancer Centre at UHNM. It has been an incredibly hard few weeks since the diagnosis, which came only a few days after Jim’s 48th birthday. In fundraising, we would like to recognise the huge support and love that the staff are offering to Jim and our family at this difficult time. We would like to raise money to go towards making any cancer patients’ experience and their family’s experience as comfortable as possible when going through such hard times.
