Help raise money for Tom Thompson’s memorial
Donation protected
this morning my dad Tom “Tommy”Thompson died after a short battle with cancer. Everyone who knew my dad always had a good & funny story to share about him. Tom grew up in Marblehead Massachusetts where he worked with his brother John as a commercial fisherman on F/V Fundy Dawn. He later moved to Salem & raised a family there. He worked for the Town of Swampscott for 15 years as a custodian for the school system. My dad spent a lot of his free time with me & my sister at his family’s lake house on Cow Island in Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire. Later in life he moved to Ossipee, New Hampshire, where he lived in a small cabin with his dog, River
I’m going to remember my dad whenever I am snowmobiling, on a boat, ice fishing, looking out at the mountains or listening to country music and 80s rock. For those of you who know me, it’s been a hell of a year, and I am working hard getting my life back together. Unfortunately right now my sister and I are not prepared to give our dad a memorial service. Any & all help would be greatly appreciated as we make plans to say our final goodbye.
