Rich has Marfan's Disease, an inherited disease which his father had.  Rich had open heart surgery in 2003 and the same thing has happened again.  He lives in Mathias, WV and had to be medo-vacced To  UVA in Charlottesville, VA.  Rich has survived the surgery and is doing well but he needs funds to pay his medical bills.  Both his parents are dead and his closest living relative is his younger brother Christian.  Rich's father had already lost his hearing and was beginning to lose his eyesight due to the disease before he died.  Both he and Rich were musicians

Rich's mother was my best friend for over 40 years until she died of sepsis.  We made special birthday cakes and Christmas cookies and died Easter eggs together. Our families spent Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Year's Day together for years..It would take too long to explain why I feel so close to Rich and want to help him in some way.  He doesn't have any health insurance so please, if you can help with any amount of money it will be greatly appreciated.
