Hi, my name is Reyna Fernandez, and I’m 24 years old. I never imagined that at such a young age I would be facing one of the most difficult battles of my life, thyroid cancer.

Recently, I was diagnosed with a cancerous nodule in my thyroid. After many tests and consultations, doctors have confirmed that I need urgent surgery to remove part of my thyroid, followed by ongoing care and treatment to ensure the cancer does not spread or return.

This news has shaken me and my family to the core. While we are doing everything we can to stay strong, the reality is that I do not have health insurance, and the cost of this surgery, along with the treatment that follows, is more than my family and I can afford.

We’ve explored every option, but time is not on our side. My doctors have emphasized the importance of acting quickly, and I’m turning to you with a humble and hopeful heart.
