Help Raise Money for My Mothers Medical Bills
Donation protected
On June 1st my mother Diana Beaver, 55 fell and struck her head on the concrete. She was immediately unresponsive. 911 was called and she was taken into emergency brain surgery at Tampa General Hospital. After a 5 hour craniotomy (removal of the whole side of her skull) they surgeons were able to remove the brain bleed (subdural hematoma). They initially thought she wouldn't make it through the surgery.
I was later informed that she had a stroke which is probably what caused her to fall. She has been in the Neuroscience ICU ever since. To top it all of the Department of Oncology informed us that she also has
AML (Acute Myelogenous Leukemia).
She has been completely unresponsive since the surgery. My family consulted with a team of physicians this morning, and unfortunately there is only a small chance of full recovery. If she makes it through she will need long term care and rehabilitation followed by aggressive chemotherapy for the Leukemia.
My Father and brother both live on the west coast. If my mother doesn't pull through, I will be alone with no way to afford my apartment or any other bills for that matter.
Any funds received will be used to cover medical expenses. My Mom had no insurance at the time of the accident. I will also be forced to move to the west coast to be with my Dad and brother.
Any other monies will be used to pay of her medical debts, personal debts, and my relocation to Nevada to be with my Dad and brother.
Due to the extremely poor prognosis, time is of the essence.
I am 23 and my little brother is 21. It's horrible to think we may loose her at such a young age. I thank everyone for reading my story and helping in any way possible.
