Help raise money for medical bills & funeral cos

Hi, My name is Margarita a.k.a Maggie. Recently we lost a very special woman, a fighter, her name was Judy Burket. She fought a long and hard battle with stage 4 Breast Cancer.

In 2018, Mom was diagnosed for the 2nd time with stage 4 cancer that metastasized to her bladder and uterus. This was very sad news given she had overcome stage 4 Breast cancer 11 years prior to her 2nd diagnosis.

In 2019 She developed malignant melanoma of the vulva. This was very painful for her. In order to try and beat this one, she had a complete vulvectomy and radiation. Thankfully, after she had gone through this major surgery, it never came back. Towards the end of the year, she also developed Cancer in her bones which along with chemo she started to receive bone transfusions weekly.

In 2020 Mom battled with her cancers and had at this point been through 3 different chemo treatments all IV and pill forms. During this time she developed cancer fluid in her stomach where a cathedar was placed to drain 3-6 liters out weekly. She also experienced her first heart attack where she had emergency surgery and 2 stents put in.

In 2021 is where Mom started to take a hard turn and we were told her treatments were no longer working. She was getting infections and fighting hard to push through. Her 5th chemo treatment we could not start due to the weakness in her body. Mom still wanted to do it, still wanted to fight! But, unfortunately her body did not. She sadly passed away October 19th at 12:01am. She passed peacefully with her husband, myself and grandson by her side.

She has been to Roswell Cancer Institute over 75 times since her diagnosis and has been admitted into the hospital 5 times, as well as suffered from a heart attack and many other infections. She has gone through 4 different forms of chemo treatments, weekly bone infusions, multiple scans (which at times insurance would not cover being too soon to bill them again), and surgeries.

Unfortunately, she was unable to get a decent life insurance due to having stage 4 breast cancer 12 years ago. So we are asking for donations at this time to help with hospital costs, medical costs and after life and funeral costs. Even the smallest amounts add up and can help us make sure her funeral costs are met and her medical bills soon after.

She was such an amazing woman with a huge heart. She took in so many friends and family members throughout my life and asked nothing in return. Just knowing they were safe and taken care of is all Mom needed. She was beautiful, she was graceful, and she was thee strongest fighter I have ever met. Please help us in raising money to help with these costs.
