Help raise money for Lennon and her family!

Hi my name is Vicky,
I started this fundraiser for a fellow mom I met in a Facebook group this year. We both have babies who were born in July 2021. Unfortunately, her beautiful baby girl fell ill this week and is now fighting for her life! I reached out to Megan, Lennon's mom to help and this is how I decided to help! I have included Lennon's story below that her mom sent me about the developments as to how Lennon got so sick and within days is now on life support and fighting for her little life at 8.5 months old.
I am lucky to live in Canada, where we have a health care system that's paid for by our government. But Lennon and her family live in Arizona, in the United States, where the health care is absolutely terrifyingly expensive!! I have no idea how much their bill will be, so I've started with $100,000, and if it goes over, I know they're a single income home, with a young son as well. Lennon's dad will have to take sick leave and they'll need any support they can get! Afterwards, when Lennon pulls through (keeping positive thoughts) Lennon will need help and therapy.
Words from Megan, Lennon's mom
"Lennon started showing signs of a tummy bug going around the family Monday afternoon. She had a fever and was throwing up. Mom and dad were monitoring and decided to take her in Wednesday when she seemed to be getting more sick. At the appointment, they ruled out a UTI and flu. They told us it was likely the tummy bug and to treat symptoms. The next day, Lennon struggled to wake up or nurse. We took her back and they immediately sent us to hospital for fluids. We were there all day and were sent home once her fluids were normal and she was nursing again. We were told the same thing, treat symptoms.
Lennon slept through the night and we were hopeful the fluids had helped. To our horror, when we woke her up she was covered in bodily fluids and appeared to be seizuring. We immediately called the fire department who came, checked her vitals, told us to get her back to the hospital. When we arrived, Lennon’s lips were blue and she was gasping for air. They rushed us back and almost immediately she went into cardiac arrest. They began performing CPR and we thought we’d lost our sweet baby girl.
They got her to a stable place, but she had blood in her stomach and lungs from compression. Finally, one of the blood tests from Thursdays visit came back and showed she had a blood infection. She was now declared in septic shock, when your organs begin shutting down. She has been in critical care since. They are working hard to keep her heart and lungs at work. It will be weeks of slow, painful progress if she is strong enough. We know she is."
Please donate and help this family in need of support! Also, hold your little ones a little closer today and tell them you love them! Things can happen so quickly, this is a parents worst nightmare!
Thank you for your support,
Vicky
