Our family is raising funds to help our mother, Jodi, receive a life-saving surgery. Jodi is a devoted and loving mother whose family means everything to her. It has been heartbreaking for her not to be able to be present for her husband, Greg, and her three children, Kassidy, Ilana, and Noah.

Since April 2023, Jodi has been battling severe neurological and physical symptoms that have dramatically changed her quality of life. After years of searching for answers, she was finally diagnosed with Craniocervical Instability (CCI), a serious and debilitating spinal condition that affects the connection between the skull and spine. This condition makes even simple daily activities, such as walking or standing extremely difficult.

Jodi has now been accepted for urgent surgical treatment in India, as Canada does not have the resources to properly identify and treat CCI. The procedure is required to prevent further life threatening damage and offers hope for stability and recovery, but it comes with significant costs. In addition to the surgery itself, she will require several weeks of post-operative care abroad, followed by up to two years of rehabilitation once she returns home. The total cost of treatment is estimated to be between $100,000 and $150,000.
