As many of you already know, our mom (Janice Lujan) was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer this past September 2021. She had a lumpectomy (which is a removal of the cancer) last month in December,

but shortly after the removal, it was determined that she still had cancer cells present that are now at the aggressive stage and needs to do 6 months of Chemo and then Radiation there after.

Everything has happened so quick, and unfortunately, today, we just found out that she has a large out-of-pocket expense that has to be paid before the insurance covers their portion.

This was totally unexpected because we figured the insurance would take care of it, but that is not the case.

We are asking our friends and family if you can please help with anything you possibly can; no amount is too little.

It’s extremely difficult to ask for this help, but again, everything happened so quick and unexpectedly that we were not prepared.

We realize we have a huge battle ahead of us, not just financially, but emotionally, mentally, and for our dear mother a physical battle.
