Jac had several botched surgeries, starting with a bariatric in 2016. Issues went on until 2018, where her stomach was cut open time and time again. It started with five times and went to the big one that started the issues: a 9 inch by3 inch incision. This then caused a hernia, which also required a surgery which was also then botched. A year later, she needed the scar tissue from inside her stomach removed. Due to the issues, she has an enlarged spleen, liver damage, and other medical issues that can be disclosed it more information is needed. As of October 2020, she has been approved for three surgeries that will eliminate the deformities. The deformities have left her stomach in a different shape that makes it next to impossible to exercise, bend down, or perform daily tasks that require certain movements. The deformities cause infections and inflammation on a regular basis and she has been consistently on medication for them for over a year, however they will not subside until the stomach issues are fixed.
Surgeries needed: Panniculectomy, Abdominoplasty, and Lipectomy. CDPHP will cover half of the panniculectomy but none of either of the other two. The rest needs to be paid out of pocket, including anesthesia fees. Each surgery ranges from $8,000-15,000. Jac is currently out of work following a broken neck, scoliosis, a TBI, and other issues but is actively pursuing work that she’s physically able to do. While the idea of raising upwards of 30,000$ is unrealistic, anything will help.
