URGENT LIVER TRANSPLANT NEEDED

Hi, my name is Szendi and I am raising money to fund a liver transplant for my Fiancé Danny. 

In 2019, he was diagnosed with severe Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC), a rare chronic liver disease which aggressively damages the bile ducts outside of the liver causing them to harden and narrow and eventually causing liver damage and death.

He was given 1 year to live and no treatment.

He was showing signs of chronic jaundice (yellowing of the skin & eyes) along with extremely high LFT levels, severe pain and 30kg of weight loss within a 4 week period.

This was devastating, a horrible experience to witness your loved one go through this .

He was refused any treatment in the UK for his life threatening disease despite overseas health professionals advising him his condition was chronic and life threatening!

After not receiving treatment in the UK, he had various consultations with specialists overseas and explained the situation and how they can assist. Following this, he travelled to Cyprus to privately pay for treatment and was rushed into emergency ERCP surgery upon arrival.

Recently he has had his second stent done privately and during the surgery the finding suggest he will not be able have another in place and will therefore require a full liver transplant or die potentially in the next 6 months - to one year.

We are trying to get listed in the uk However we can not get passed the Gp even with an urgent letter of referral from a private consultant. We desperately need to be seen to and be listed . PSC also comes with a great risk of developing cancer with a 95% risk factor. If Daniel develops this then a liver transplant would be refused in the UK which is why we are trying to save to have this treatment in Spain or other countries abroad that can offer this service.

At the age of 29, he has so much life ahead of him and I can't imagine life without him.
