On April 3rd, our friend and neighbor Chris Williamson was shot in the leg while attempting to stop a vehicle break-in in the Fan district of Richmond, VA. He was rushed to MCV, where he underwent surgery to remove the bullet and repair his shattered femur. Fortunately, no major arteries were hit and he will make a full recovery.

While Chris is on the road to recovery, however, he will be unable to work and earn money for rent, bills and everyday expenses. We are asking for donations to help him maintain financially for the next few months while he works with a physical therapist and learns to walk on his own two feet again (literally).

In addition to the GoFundMe, Curbside Cafe, where Chris worked for many years, will be serving special shooters the weekend of Friday April 26th through Sunday April 28th and all sales from those shooters will go directly to Chris. They will also be accepting cash donations if drinking isn't your thing!

Our Fan neighbors have been incredibly generous in setting up meal deliveries for him, so we are not asking for additional food donations at this time.

Chris is always looking for ways to lend a hand and keep our neighborhood safe. Let's give him a hand this time around!
