Help Raise Money For Aleksa's Surgeries
Hello, my name is Nebojsa and I am fundraising for my little cousin Aleksa Cavic. Aleksa needs 3-5 surgeries on his left hand, wrist, foot and ankle. Born in 2012, at just 3 months little Aleksa suffered a major stroke that caused major motor function loss on the left side of his body. This is something called Cerebral Palsy. Since a baby he has been battling to restore as much function as possible. This has been an incredible tough journey for Aki and my aunt and uncle who live in Serbia work hard everyday to make sure Aleksa has a beautiful and normal life.
Cerabral Palsy treatments in Serbia are very limited and a rare opportunity has come up with top Cerebral Palsy Doctors from Russia coming to Serbia to help perform various CP surgeries intended to improve the daily life of children with CP (link of the hospital with more info can be found here: https://www.medikus.rs/). Of course, nothing good comes cheap.... The price for 1 surgery is 375 000 Serbian Dinars which is about $4500 CAD. With Aleksa needing likely 4 surgeries the price is overwhelmingly high and we need help!
These surgeries would greatly improve function in Aleksa's hand, wrist, ankle and foot - making his daily life a lot easier!

Da bi mu olakšali njegov život i njegovo odrastanje treba da se izvrši operacija koja je jako skupa i roditelji sami nisu u mogućnosti da to urade!
Grupa ruskih doktora koji su najveći stručnjaci za takve poduhvate dolaze nekoliko puta godišnje u Srbiju da bi pomogle deci sa invaliditetima.
Prva od nekoliko operacija treba da se uradi u October!
