Help raise money for a Wheelchair Access Van :)
Donation protected
Hello Fellow Bobcats - This is Christie Burke Falcon, Class of 1977, and I am creating this Go Fund Me account for a special Alumni in great need, Mark Tidwell, aka "Chigger". He is greatly humbling himself asking for our help.
Mark has unfortunately been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, and I know all too well the challenges he faces to mind, body and spirit. He is now fully disabled, which completely crushes his spirit. He relies totally on a wheelchair to support himself, and he can no longer drive any type of vehicle. He depends on his wife, Peggy to take him to medical appointments and other places. His only source of income is his disability which is greatly reduced.
In addition, they have been caregivers for Mark's brother Paul. At birth, Paul contracted encephalitis and more recently has twice battled with cancer. Walking is going to be difficult for him as well.
Mark desperately needs a Wheelchair Accessible Van for him and his brother. He would be greatly indebted and extremely grateful for any donation you can find in your heart to give. If you have any ideas of other ways to help him raise money, please reach out to me. If you cannot help financially at this time, just keep him, his brother, and his wife in your prayers. He daily asks God to help him with this life-altering disease. He has told me if anyone wants to reach out to him and discuss his situation, he would be happy to talk.
Thank you again for your generous consideration!
