I'm Kady, and I've known Megan Miller (Xavier's Mother) ever since elementary school. Life took us on different journeys as we got older, but we've always kept in touch through social media. I've been able to watch as she created a beautiful family. Megan is one of the most selfless people I have had the pleasure of knowing, and I've watched her raise her two children (Xavier and Eli) on her own; and she has always put those two little boys first and would do absolutely anything for them! The love she has for her children is indescribable!

Xavier was born with Kidney disease and spent a lot of his childhood in hospitals, doctor's visits, etc. He had endured dialysis treatments for a while until recently he received a kidney transplant. Unfortunately, in the midst of all of this, Xavier also was diagnosed with epilepsy. This has been a lot for them all to go through, as you can imagine.

More recently, Megan made a Facebook post that stated:

"I brought Xavier into the hospital yesterday because for 3 days, he was vomiting, crying that his eyes and head hurt & Tylenol didn’t help. His speech turned sluggish, he couldn’t make it to the bathroom, he was having multiple accidents… he couldn’t move out of the bathtub on his own.

They did a head CT and found multiple lesions on his brain, among other things. We are unsure yet exactly what these are, we are waiting for MRI right now.

Please pray for my boy.

I’m trying to help him be strong when the world keeps pulling him down, but it’s so hard lately.

He needs all the love and support he can get ❤️"

Megan also shared an update on Snapchat that they are awaiting an MRI of his eyes and spine and a spinal tap. They are hoping that the fluid obtained from the spinal tap provides a definitive diagnosis, but if not, a brain biopsy will need to be done for confirmation. The oncologists and neurosurgeons are sure that he does have cancer based on the imaging studies already done, but they still need to follow up with further testing to say 100%.
