As many of you already know, Sabastian (Booda) Chase Fernandez De Castro passed away unexpectedly on May 31st, 2022, after an overdose at the age of 22.

 

The family is shocked and saddened by this loss and unfortunately, we are not prepared to pay for the funeral and cremation. To ensure that everyone who would like to pay their respects to Booda can, we are trying to raise $8,000 to cover these costs. If we exceed this amount, it will go to creating mementos for his siblings and family. Thank you in advance for your support.

 

 

 

Born to Becca and Max on December 5th, 1999, Sabastian was a chunky baby, which is where he got his nickname of Booda, which stuck for life. When Booda was little, he immediately had a best friend, his older brother Maxim. Finally, settling down in San Tan Vally, AZ, where he made lasting friendships. Some of Booda's favorite activities included his love of hiking, he loved the water, writing in his journal, and writing poems and drawing. He loved nature more than anything and good views (making sure to take a good selfie). He loved driving his mustang, going on boats at the lakes, finding and looking at crystals. He was an emotional creature and very spiritual.

 

 

 

 

Our family was not expecting the loss of Booda or for his life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Booda forever. He was the kindest, most open-minded, resilient soul and a joy to be around.

 

 

He will be forever missed.

 

Booda is preceded in death by his Father, Max DeCastro, and his grandmother Patrica Martinez. He will always be remembered by his mother, Becca Decastro, his siblings Maxim Decastro, Hunter Decastro, Eden Decastro, and his grandfathers Oscar Martinez, Randy Christiansen and grandmother Sharon Christiansen. There are so many other immediate family and many friends who he considered family. Booda loved each person as we all loved him.
